I’m a skincare obsessive – step into my bathroom and you’ll find a lifetime supply of masks, serums, eye creams, sheet masks, toners, scrubs, mists, balms, oils, the list goes on… However it’s a huge part of my job to try and test anything new that comes my way and (when I, inevitably, try something exciting) to write about it.  

Rodial is the latest brand to fly onto my radar/bathroom shelves ( We launched at BEAUTE.AE this month) – and I am so impressed. In fact, I can’t believe I haven’t tried their products sooner – especially the skincare, which is all about results driven products that target specific concerns with innovative, hardworking formulas.

BEE VENOM CLEANSING BALM

I’m fussy when it comes to cleansers – I like thick, dense balms, and I like to end the job with my skin feeling soft, calm, and hydrated… Rodial’s Bee Venom Cleansing Balm ticks all the boxes – it wicks away makeup and balances my skin without any added greasiness (and with the added bonus of a fresh and fruity scent). As for the bee venom? Yes, it’s actual (cruelty-free) bee venom – included for its ability to plump skin (reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles) and improve circulation (i.e. making skin glow!). 

Post-acne pigmentation plagues my life – fact. Which is why glycolic acid is my knight in shining armour – (it gently exfoliates skin to get rid of surface skin cells, fading the appearance of marks over time) and not a week goes by that I don’t use it in one way or another. As glycolic acid goes, Rodial’s Glycolic 10% Booster Drops are pretty ace – the formula is a high strength (10%) blend so you really notice it work, and I like that it’s in serum form (usually you only find glycolic in toners and cleansers). 

These Vit C Brightening Cleansing Pads are incredible for dull skin and lingering pigmentation – courtesy of a blend of vitamin C and exfoliating acids (AHAs and BHAs), which slough away dead skin cells, making skin instantly brighter, clearer, and smoother. My skin always looks tired at this time of year, and these are proving the ultimate antidote. All I do is massage the pad in gentle, circular motions over my face for 2-3 minutes, then follow up with a water-based moisturiser. The result? So much glow.
